Starting a cake and cookie blog! Wanting to share all my goodies with everyone. I'll start out with the cakes & cookies I have already made, and add on with everything new!! I'll include my 'menu and prices' for any order that you may have. Don't see it on here? Just ask! Would like at least 2 weeks notice so I can plan accordingly.
This was my first 'carved' cake. BLUE! This was Carson's 2nd birthday, so this was almost 7 years ago? *sniff sniff*!! I was so excited with this cake. Yes, I did get the idea online, but oh well! His little feet and his hand is made of ding dongs! YUM!
These were my sister-in-law's bridal shower cakes! (2003?) My first workings with fondant, and I wasn't very impressed. I didn't mind working with it, but it didn't taste wonderful. I've since found wonderful recipes to make store bought fondant much yummier. Haven't tried them yet, but I will.

My most recent cake adventure! Made this for my dear friend Mandy for her birthday. She is "Miss Theater", so what cake would be better for her? She says it was the best cake she's ever gotten. THANKS MANDY!
This was white and chocolate cake with chocolate ganache filling and whipped chocolate and whipped white chocolate icing. It was WONDERFUL! Was very excited with the results of this one, I clapped for myself some. :)
I have more to post, but will at another time. Have lots of housework to do! Until then...
